Welcome back, everyone! I hope you had a restful and refreshing spring break. As we step into the final and 4th quarter of the school year, it's time to focus on finishing strong. The weeks ahead are critical, especially as we enter testing season, and I want to remind both students and parents of the importance of staying focused and committed as we wrap up the school year.Student attendance is especially important during this time, as consistent participation in classes and testing will ensure our students are fully prepared to succeed. We also encourage all students to stay on top of their assignments in tested areas, as completing these tasks will significantly support their success on assessments.Additionally, as we approach the end of the year, it's crucial that students and families monitor grades regularly. Students must pass all 4 core classes—Math, English, Science, and Social Studies—in order to advance to the next grade level. If a student does not pass all of these core courses, they will be retained. We strongly encourage everyone to reach out to teachers for support if any challenges arise, as we want all students to succeed.A quick reminder to parents: please continue to monitor your child's personal devices at home to ensure they are staying on track with their schoolwork and using technology appropriately. Also, it’s essential that students bring their laptops and chargers to school every day. These tools are necessary for daily learning and assessments, and we rely on them to ensure academic success.Don’t forget to read the weekly newsletter for important updates and announcements. Together, let’s make these final weeks count and work toward finishing the year with pride and achievement. We believe in our students and their ability to meet their goals!Thank you for your continued support. Let's close out this school year strong! #BreatheF.I.R.E & #Learningisrequried!Marc A. Hernandez, M.Ed.
