Dragon Community,Happy New Year and welcome back!I hope you had a restful and enjoyable winter break. As we step into 2025, there is a renewed sense of excitement and positive energy across our school. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth together as we enter the 3rd quarter. This year, we are committed to providing a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. To ensure success, it’s essential that all students attend school daily. Regular attendance is a key factor in academic achievement. Students who are present each day are more likely to develop the skills, knowledge, and habits necessary for success. Traits of great attendance include punctuality, preparedness, and staying engaged with their schoolwork. Your presence truly matters! In addition, it is crucial that all students bring their laptops to school every day. These devices are an integral part of our learning experience, allowing students to engage with digital tools, access resources, and complete assignments. Please ensure that your student is equipped with their laptop each day to fully participate in the learning process. We are also celebrating some wonderful progress in our academic achievement. In the recent ELA FAST PM 2 test, our students showed notable gains, which is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the strong support from our teachers and families. Let’s continue to build on these successes as we move forward.Above all, learning is required. Our primary focus remains on providing the highest quality education for all of our students. Let’s continue to strive for excellence, stay focused, and work together to make 2025 our best year yet.I am excited to see all of the amazing things we will accomplish during the second semester!Best regards,
Marc A. Hernandez, M.Ed.
