The role of the Media Center has changed throughout the history of education but the goal has remained the same: Defend the right of intellectual freedom and provide access to engaging resources and books. Our mission is to help learners of all ages develop the love of reading. Explore literacy through a number of ways including print and electronic resources. Learn informational research skills and strategies. Participate in maker space events, family nights and book fairs. MEET THE LIBRARIAN:
Ms. Rios has been in education for over 20 years in Osceola and Miami-Dade counties. She is the Media Specialist, Testing Coordinator and occasionally assists with webpage design. Favorite book: The Giver by Lois Lowry. Favorite book series: Divergent by Veronica Roth. Currently reading: SSYRA books.
