PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
NeoCity Academy is a true partnership between the School District of Osceola County and our NeoCity Community. Together, we will provide an unmatched educational experience for students as we prepare them to be contributing 21st Century citizens. We do this through building a Culture of No Excuses - where we hold one another accountable to achieve the goals that we have set forth for the education of our students.
This year will be unprecedented as we face schooling students in a global pandemic. Now, more than ever, we need to lean on one another to support the teaching, learning and social-emotional needs of our students. The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought to light the need for schools like NeoCity Academy. The need for students to engage in real-world problem-solving so that they are able to tackle the complex problems that we face in an ever-changing world.
I want to acknowledge the choice you have made to help us build a school that we believe offers a unique, transformative and powerful education for Osceola County students.
The families of NeoCity Academy come from all over our county and from many different schools. At NeoCity Academy we embark on a journey to bring together this diverse group of students, families, and teachers to become one of the strongest communities of learners in the country.
Welcome.
Educationally,
Michael Meechin, Principal
NeoCity Academy

SCHOOL SAFETY - PRIORITY # 1
The safety of our school community is the number one priority at NeoCity Academy. Physical safety, mental health safety, and a safe culture inclusive of all students and staff has been our number one goal. Our NeoCity families, students and staff are what make this an incredible culture to teach and learn in.
Our School Safety Team is led by Deputy Robert Harlan, of the Osceola County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Harlan has served Osceola for over 15 years, and has served as a School Resource Officer for 8 years. Deputy Harlan also serves in the capacity of sniper on the Osceola County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team. We are happy to have Deputy Harlan as a part of our NeoCity family.
