Greetings!I hope the new year is starting off well for you and your family. We have gotten right back to work this semester and are gaining momentum as we move toward Spring Break and testing season. Attendance is extremely important for student success and helps ensure they are well prepared for assessments and maintaining their grades. We have a dedicated attendance specialist, along with our dean, who is on campus weekly monitoring student absences, contacting students and parents, and ensuring they understand the district's attendance policies. The first step to your student's success is being in school every day.Renovations continue to move forward quickly, and the students and staff are managing all the adjustments that come with being a part of a construction zone. As we move through the different phases, more changes will come, and we will adjust to keep school going all throughout the project. We have a little over a year until it is completed. In the meantime, we will focus on continuing to make art, learn and grow together, and keep improving. Please be sure to check our website for performances as we have some events scheduled at alternative locations. Also, please check your child's grades and attendance regularly in Focus and contact their teachers anytime you have a question. As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at a performance soon at OCSA...Where Passion Meets Purpose!
