Principal's Message

Dear Osceola High School Family,
As we embrace the beautiful fall season, I am reminded of the importance of community and the collective effort it takes to ensure our students’ success. October is a pivotal month, and I would like to highlight a few key areas that are essential for our students’ growth and achievement.
Daily Attendance and Punctuality
Regular attendance and arriving to school on time are crucial for academic success. Each day of learning builds on the previous one, and being present ensures that students do not miss out on valuable instruction. Let’s work together to encourage our students to make daily attendance a priority and to arrive at school ready to learn.
Maintaining Grades
As we approach the midpoint of the semester, it’s important for students to stay focused on their academic goals. Maintaining good grades requires consistent effort and dedication. I encourage students to take advantage of the resources available to them, such as tutoring sessions beginning in October and the media center study groups during lunches, to help them stay on track. Parents, your support and involvement in your child’s education are invaluable. Please continue to monitor their progress nightly and communicate with teachers as needed.
Staying Active as Parents and Community Members
Our school thrives when parents and community members are actively involved. Whether it’s attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering at school events, or participating in community activities, your engagement makes a significant difference. Together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment for our students.
Activities and Events
This month, we have several exciting events planned to foster school spirit. From Senior nights for our sporting events, to our fall play Beetlejuice, there are many opportunities for students stay active and support each other! I encourage everyone to participate and enjoy these activities, as they are a wonderful way to build connections and create lasting memories.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Osceola High School. Let’s make this October a month of growth, learning, and community spirit.
Warm regards,
Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy
Principal, Osceola High School
