Welcome to the Celebration HS IB Application page.  There are several steps and please read through this page.  Even though it looks like a lot, please know it is a pretty simple process.

1. Submit the SDOC online Choice Application
2. Download the IB Recommendation form and work with your school counselor to complete this form.
3. Once your IB Recommendation form is completed, submit it to the CHS IB Coordinator or CHS School Counselor (see email address below).
4. Sign-up for one our CHS Pre-IB Information Nights (bottom of this webpage).

Steps to the application process

1. Investigate Celebration HS and the IB programme
   1. Visit the Osceola County School District Choice
   2. https://www.myosceolachoice.school/
   3. Click on "View All Programs"
   4. Find Celebration High School on the list of high schools and investigate what Celebration is all about.
   5. Please review the Celebration High School IB Brochure below.
   6. Please review the Official IB Diploma Programme Brochure below. 

How to Apply: 

• After November 21st, you can complete the 2025-2026 SDOC online Choice Application before the deadline.
  • • Use this link to submit your SDOC online Choice Application
    • https://www.myosceolachoice.school/how-to-apply
    • Application Deadline is January 27th, 2025.
      • The application window reopens on Febuary 24th.
    • THIS STEP MUST BE COMPLETED before we can process your IB recommendation form (see next step)

• After you have completed the SDOC online Choice Application, you will need to complete the IB Recommendation Form for 2025-2026.
  • This form includes teacher/counselor recommendations, GPA and grade information, State or National Testing information and attendance.
  • For most of you, you will need the assistance of your School Counselor to complete this form.
  • Once it is complete, please have it returned to Mr. Blackmon via email Donald.Blackmon@osceolaschools.net or Ms. Vazquez via email Kayla.vazquez2@osceolaschools.net.

SDOC Application Window

November 21, 2024—January 27, 2025

Applciation window re-opens Febuary 24th.

However, the sooner, the better to avoid being placed on the waitlist.

When considering students for admission to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Celebration High School, the Admission Committee will review the following elements:

• The last 3 years of grades
• Proficiency level on FL Standards Assessments (FSA) Reading
• Proficiency level on FL Standards Assessments (FSA) Math or Algebra EOC
• Teacher and Counselor Recommendations
• Academic Performance
• Attendance History

Prerequisite Coursework: 

• Algebra 1 or Algebra 1 Honors are highly recommended to prepare students for the rigor of high school course sequences.
• We recommend NOT taking High School Biology in Middle School.

Lastly, please come join us for our IB Informational Nights on January 9th and January 21st. 

Learn more about our CHS Pre-IB programme and our school.  Both nights have the same agenda and include:

• Campus Tour
• Teacher Panel
• Student panel
• Information Session
• Time: 6pm and lasts approximately 2 hours.
• Location: Celebration High School Theatre

It is not required, however it will help us out if you pre-register for the event so we can ensure you can meet all of your needs.
