It is an honor to be the Principal of Sunrise Elementary and I look forward to a great year together. At Sunrise, we ensure high levels of learning for all students. Thank you for visiting our website and becoming an active participant in our school. This year will be the best one yet, as we continue to foster a growth mindset in which ALL students can learn. We will build relationships with our students, parents, and community members and we invite you to become an active member of our school by joining our School Advisory Committee (SAC) and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
In addition, we encourage you to volunteer with Osceola Adults Serving and Inspiring Students (OASIS). You should sign up as an Oasis volunteer as soon as possible so that you can chaperone field trips or help our school throughout the day. Applications must be re-submitted every year.
Remember to continue checking our website for important dates or events. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us and schedule an appointment. Our Amazing SRO
Meet Deputy Vega
Born and raised in Osceola County, it brings me great joy to give back to my community – serving and protecting the citizens and visitors alike. I became an employee of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office as a civilian employee working in the Records Department and the Evidence Unit. In 2015, I graduated from the Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola and became a Deputy Sheriff.
In 2017 I began my journey as a School Resource Officer at Sunrise Elementary, the greatest school in Osceola County! It has always been my passion to make an impact on young children’s lives, and what better way than to impact those in the community I was raised in! I look forward to another successful year with all our students and creating everlasting memories and positive interactions with each of them.
