Dear Mariner Family,As we approach the midpoint of the academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our shared accomplishments, acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced, and express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who contributes to making our school a vibrant and nurturing place for teaching and learning. We have much to celebrate, including the results that are coming in for our Progress Monitoring 2 assessments in Reading and Mathematics. Most of our grade levels are scoring above district and state averages. Please join us as at our School Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting on February 17th at 4:45 in the Media Center for our full mid-year report and presentation. As we continue to move forward, I am confident that the second half of the year will bring even more opportunities for learning, creativity, and community connection. Let us remain focused on fostering a supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.During this holiday season, I wish each of you moments of joy, rest, and togetherness. May this time bring you the chance to recharge and create lasting memories with loved ones. Let us also remember the importance of kindness and giving, extending our support to those in need within our community and beyond. That’s what Mariners do every day!Thank you once again for your partnership and dedication. I look forward to a successful remainder of the school year.Warmest regards,Dr. Melanie Cleveland
