The Planning Services Department was created in 2014 to focus on establishing a vision for the District’s short- and long-range planning and growth management needs, educational facilities planning, and the District’s Geographic Information System “GIS”.  As a liaison to the County and municipalities, we are able to project the impact of residential development on student capacity, create long-range projections, recommend future school sites, and coordinate the districtwide rezoning efforts.
