SAT School Day - Spring 2024
On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, junior scholars and select seniors will participate in the SAT Assessment. Please note the following information:
- All juniors (11th grade scholars) will participate in the digital SAT on March 20, 2024.
- Any senior (12th grade scholar) who still has a graduation assessment requirement outstanding will participate in a non-college reportable version of the SAT on March 20, 2024.
School Issued Devices
Scholars must bring their school-issued device to school on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Their device must be fully charged; we recommend fully charging it the night before. Space in testing rooms will be limited for scholars to access outlets. Moreover, loaner devices will be very limited and scholars may not get the opportunity to participate on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, if they do not bring their device to school with a full charge (and the charger).
Arrival Time
Scholars must arrive to school on time in order to be admitted into the testing rooms. Scholars must arrive no later than 7:20AM to be permitted into testing rooms. Scholars arriving after 7:20AM will not participate in the assessment and will follow their regular schedule for the day.
Scholar Resources
For additional information on the assessments, please review the linked student guides below:
SAT & PSAT/NMSQT Practice on Khan Academy
Taking an SAT practice test is good practice for the PSAT/NMSQT because the assessments measure the same skills and knowledge in ways that make sense for different grade levels. The College Board and Khan Academy® have partnered to make practicing easy and personal. At Khan Academy, you can access thousands of questions approved by the College Board, take official SAT practice tests, and create personalized study plans based on your results. Prepare for SAT success with Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy® at www.satpractice.org.
Accommodations
Requesting accommodations for this administration has ended. Scholars may still request accommodations for future administrations of the SAT and/or weekend administrations of the assessment. Please reach out to me, should you have more questions.
College Board Account
To ensure scholars can view his\her SAT scores as soon as they are available, please ensure that your scholar has created/creates a College Board Account. Please click on or copy and paste the link below into your browser to complete a College Board Account.
https://pages.collegeboard.org/account-help/why-create-college-board-account. Scholars should not create multiple accounts. If your scholar has forgotten which email address, s/he used to create an account, or already has multiple accounts, please have your scholar contact College Board customer service at 866-315-6068.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
