    Florida Assessment Opportunities for Graduation Requirements - Juniors & Seniors

    This page is intended for those juniors and seniors who still have not satisfied their ELA Assessment and/or their Algebra I Assessment requirement for graduation. Be sure to review the information outlined on the Graduation Requirements for Florida’s Statewide Assessment for further details about these requirements and how your scholar can achieve their assessment graduation requirements. 

    Below you will find information regarding opportunities that scholars have to attempt to meet these assessment graduation requirements. Review carefully as some opportunities are grade-level specific and some are on campus opportunities while others are off campus.

     

    On Campus Opportunities for Assessment Graduation Requirements (as of 03.03.2024):

    1. SAT School Day:
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When: Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Note: Juniors will participate in a college reportable version of the SAT and Seniors will participate in a non-college reportable version.
      3. What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
    2. ACT School Day:
      1. Who: Juniors ONLY.
      2. When: Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
      3. What’s Needed: On-time arrival to school. This is a paper-based assessment, so a computer is not necessary. Your senior may elect to bring their own calculator, please review the ACT Calculator Policy for more information: ACT Calculator Policy.
    3. ACT Non-College Reportable (NCR):
      1. Who: Seniors ONLY.
      2. When:
        1. ELA Assessment: English Subtest is April 09, 2024 & Reading Subtest is April 12, 2024. Note: The FLDOE requires that the scores from the English & Reading subtests be averaged together, but do not have to be from the same test administration.
        2. Math Assessment: April 10, 2024.
      3. What’s Needed: On-time arrival to school. This is a paper-based assessment, so a computer is not necessary. Your senior may elect to bring their own calculator, please review the ACT Calculator Policy for more information: ACT Calculator Policy.
    4. Classic Learning Test In-School Session (CLT):
      1. Who: Seniors ONLY.
      2. When: Thursday, April 11, 2024.
      3. What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
    5. FAST ELA Reading Retake:
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When: Friday, May 03, 2024.
      3. What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
    6. B.E.S.T. Algebra I EOC Retake & B.E.S.T. Geometry EOC Retake:
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When:
        1. BEST Algebra I EOC Retake: Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
        2. BEST Geometry EOC Retake: Thursday, May 16, 2024.
      3. What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.

     

    Off Campus Opportunities for Assessment Graduation Requirements:

    1. ACT National Weekend Tests:
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When: Upcoming: April 13, 2024, with a registration deadline of March 08, 2024. Please review the website to review more dates and registration deadlines: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/registration.html.
      3. Support: The ACT Weekend dates does have a fee to take the assessment. Scholars may arrange to meet with Mrs. Soto, our College & Career Counselor, to see if they may qualify for a fee waiver.
    2. SAT National Weekend Tests:
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When: Upcoming: May 04, 2024, with a registration deadline of April 19, 2024. Please visit their website to review more dates, details, and registration deadlines: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/digital/digital-testing/dates-deadlines.
      3. Support: The SAT Weekend dates do have a fee to take the assessment. Scholars may arrange to meet with Mrs. Soto, our College & Career Counselor, to see if they may qualify for a fee waiver.
    3. Classic Learning Test (CLT):
      1. Who: Juniors and Seniors.
      2. When: Upcoming: April 11, 2024, with a registration deadline of April 02, 2024. Please visit their website to review more dates, details, and registration deadlines: https://www.cltexam.com/tests/clt/.
      3. Important note: Please review any communication from CLT once registered for an assessment. They have a date deadline; however, if their spots fill up and your registration is not complete, they will cancel your registration.
      4. Support: The CLT is a fairly new assessment that can be used to satisfy graduation requirements, please exam their website thoroughly. This assessment is administered at home with remote proctoring. Moreover, there is a fee to take the assessment, however, the website outlines some options/opportunities that your scholar may receive a discounted or completely waived fee.
