Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Planning Services has constructed the School District of Osceola County’s GIS program and is responsible for further development and maintenance of the District’s geographic data. Over several years, Planning Services has used GIS in support of operations and year round tasks such as long term planning, resident enrollment projections, residential development monitoring, boundary mapping, redistricting planning and demographic research.
