• Welcome to High School English Language Arts. The purpose of English Language Arts is to provide students integrated language arts study in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language using complex texts. Our goal for all students is for college and career preparation and readiness. A summary of the standards students will learn during these courses can be found at CPALMS.
