Health Services provides coordinated school-based nursing services for students to promote school attendance and enhance academic achievement. The District Registered Nurses initiate plans of care and coordinate any necessary medical accommodations for students during the school day. Health Services collaborates with the Florida Department of Health-Osceola staff, who review immunization records and coordinate mandated school health screenings at the schools.
Student accident insurance may be purchased during the school day. Contact Risk Management at 407-870-4899 for further information.
