• To be successful in aglobal society, students need to engage in language acquisition.  Students choose from the following two World Languages:  French or Spanish. Students must take three years of the same language in order to build the skills and knowledge needed.  Students in the introductory course level explore the cultural aspects of the language as well as develop basic vocabulary and conversational skills.  The culminating activity for this course is a World Language Showcase, where students will showcase a country, culinary cuisine, dance, or song from an area whose primary language is French or Spanish.
