• Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS) Overview

    As a PBIS school, Highlands Elementary values a tiered framework of support for students that sets clear school-wide expectations. We expect students to follow our expectations to be Kind, Safe,  Responsible and Ready to Learn in order to support their educational success. PBIS provides a positive school environment where expected behaviors are explicitly taught and reinforced, while any problem behaviors are responded to consistently.
