    OFFICIAL SAT PRACTICE

All students, regardless of grade level, are encouraged to use Official SAT Practice by Khan Academy to start preparing for future SAT exams.  Students, however, who take the PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, or SAT get personalized practice recommendations based on your own individual results from these tests.  Specifically, the Official SAT Practice program works to strengthen areas of need through a variety of practice problems, timed mini sections, and sample SAT tests.

In order to do all of this, you need to have both a CollegeBoard and Khan Academy account, and they must be linked together.  If you've already done this, great -- you can skip to step 4 below. If not, there are a few setup steps required:

    1. You will first need a CollegeBoard account.  If you do not have a CollegeBoard account yet, please click here to set one up.  If you do already have a CollegeBoard account but you cannot remember your username or password, you can navigate to the CollegeBoard website and click the Forgot Username or Password buttons.  You can also reach out directly to CollegeBoard at 1-866-630-9305.  Regardless of if you have a new or existing account, make sure you write this information down somewhere safe to refer back to when needed.
    2. Next, visit the Official SAT Practice website.  Bookmark this.  If you do not already have a Khan Academy account, click here to set one up (use your school email address).  If you do already have an account, click Login and enter your credentials.  If you cannot remember your password, you can use the Forgot Password link (your username is your school email address).
    3. Next, if necessary, navigate back to the main Official SAT Practice homepage.  You should see a Start Practicing icon in the middle of the page.  Click this. Next, click the link to Sign in to CollegeBoard.org.  Once you login to your CollegeBoard account, hit "Send" to get a personalized practice plan.
    4. Lastly, please download and save this Offical SAT Practice Guidelines document.  It will walk you through the steps you can and should take to setup when and how you want to practice.  If you have any specific questions about this, please see Dr. Seabolt.
