      Test Date: June 14, registration deadline May 9th

      Algebra 1 Bootcamp

      High school students in need of the Algebra EOC retake to earn a passing score for the math graduation requirement. This bootcamp includes review of benchmarks and test taking strategies before re-taking the EOC.

    • Driver's Ed

      Driver's ED - Summer Edition

      To provide 4 hours of behind the wheel driving so the students can take their road test to obtain their waiver for their license.

      1. Students must have a valid learner’s license prior to participation. 2. Students must also complete and sign the consent form (click on link below) 3. Completed consent form must be on file at participating high school before any driving takes place. Eligible students will need to notify the assistant principal at the participating school sites of their interest to participate. 4. Seats are limited.

    • ESE Extended School Year (ESY)

      Extended School Year - Exceptional Student Education (ESE)

      The Extended School Year (ESY) services provide Special Education and related services to students with disabilities beyond the regular 180-day school year per the recommendation of the IEP team. This is for students with disabilities recommended by the IEP team for ESY services. *Transportation is provided.*

      Level: 9th-12th Grade Students
      Cost: FREE!

      Esperanza Rising

      To provide additional test preparation for the STAR test or End of Unit assessments for ELL students with less than 2 years in the ESOL program. This is for students needing to meet the 10th grade ELA graduation requirement.

      Osceola Business Academy Internships

      The Osceola Business Academy,  CareerSource Central Florida and local business owners, will provide a paid internship in the Central Florida community. Opportunities for students will be targeted toward the program of study at The Osceola Business Academy.  Internship opportunities will develop students' 21st-century skills to prepare students for career readiness.

      Level: The summer internships are offered to all of the Poinciana High School Students, ages 14-19.
