Instructional Materials

The Osceola County School District strives to provide students, schools and faculties with the highest quality of instructional materials to meet its educational goals and support 21st Century teaching and learning. We follow all Florida State Guidelines and Procedures in choosing the best materials possible and it is our goal to affect student achievement in the highest way possible as well as Osceola County School Board Rule 4.21 – Selection and Management of Instructional Materials for selection and review.

This school district maintains instructional materials as well as follows the material adoption cycle through the Florida DOE and the timeline provided. 

Pursuant to Section 1006.28 and 1006.283, Florida Statutes, the School Board of Osceola County Florida, hereby proposes to hold a public hearing on the recommended 2024-2025 K-12 Social Studies, AP, and AICE instructional materials purchase. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., in the School District of Osceola County Administrative Center Board Room located at 817 Bill Beck Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida.
