WORK AT NEOCITY ACADEMY

NeoCity Academy's commitment to genuine student/teacher relationships allows for meaningful instruction and assessment, a more personalized approach to education, and the time and energy to truly engage.

Our teachers teach four classes; in a six-period period and also run an Advisory. The role of Advisory serves as a fifth "class", although advising students is one of the most impactful roles our teachers play. Advisors serve as advocates, confidantes, and cheerleaders. 

Teachers at NeoCity Academy have tremendous autonomy within the curriculum. At the same time, teachers work together on scope and sequence in alignment with state standards. Many school policies and decisions are discussed fully at faculty meetings and are often made in consensus. In this way, teachers at NeoCity Academy feel a level of investment and contribution that is unique.
