NeoCity Academy

PURPOSE

NeoCity Academy offers Deep Dives as a way for students to engage in meaningful activities not typically included in the curriculum. The Deep Dives are proposed by our staff and are offered to students on Friday mornings during Flex. 

Student voice and choice will often drive the selection of Deep Dives - and offers students 30 minutes weekly to learn a new skill or try something unique. Deep Dives are not meant to feel like extra work, but rather a time to try something new or to make connections with peers and our staff.

HOW DEEP DIVES WORK

Students will register for a Deep Dive during the first few weeks of the quarter. Deep Dives will last for three weeks during each quarter. Deep Dive sessions are first come, first served and often fill up quickly. It is the expecation that all NeoCity Academy students attend a Deep Dive session.
