Computers, scanners, Internet, telecommunications, multimedia presentations are what we will work with in this class. Learn the in sand outs of the new technology in today’s digital publishing industry. Students will use Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator in this class. Instruction is designed to provide an understanding of the advances being made in technology today and in the future! Upon successful completion of the industry certification exam and/or the Tech Prep Test students will earn college credits.

This course is designed to work with digital cameras, camcorders, and scanners to create professional projects using AdobePhotoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Final projects will be used to create an Electronic Portfolio perfect for employment and college applications. Upon successful completion of the industry certification exam and/or the Tech PrepTest students will earn college credits.

Students will learn the basics of the Internet, Intranet and World Wide Web. Students will use XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript todevelop and design websites. Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop will beused to enhance and design dynamic websites. At the conclusion of the course, students have the opportunity to become industry certified in the Adobe Programs. Upon successful completion of the industry certification exam and/orthe Tech Prep Test students will earn college credits.
