New Administrative Appointment | Oct. 20, 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On October 19, 2021, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:

Sandra Ramirez, Assistant Principal at Highlands Elementary School

Sandra Ramirez has held the following positions: First grade teacher at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts (2004-2007); Teacher at Sunrise Elementary (2007-2009); K-5 Reading Specialist, Dual Language Teacher, Testing Coordinator, 21st Century Co-Coordinator, MTSS Coach/LRS, and Literacy Coach at Koa Elementary (2009-2018); and Literacy Coach at Neptune Elementary (2018-present). She received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Elementary Education from City College of New York and a master's degree in Education/Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.

Amanda Smith, Assistant Principal at Narcoossee Elementary School

Amanda Smith has held the following positions: Teacher at Highlands Elementary (2006-2016) and Math/Science Instructional Coach at Lakeview Elementary (2016-present). She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, a master's degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, and her master's degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.

Nuevos nombramientos administrativos

El 19 de octubre de 2021, la Junta Escolar del Condado Osceola aprobó los siguientes nombramientos administrativos:

Sandra Ramirez, subdirectora de la Escuela Elemental Highlands

Sandra Ramirez ha ocupado los siguientes puestos: maestra de primer grado en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Poinciana (2004-2007); Maestra en la Escuela Elemental Sunrise (2007-2009); Especialista en lectura de K-5, maestra de lenguaje dual, coordinadora de exámenes, co-coordinadora de 21st Century, maestra guía de MTSS / LRS y maestra guía de alfabetización en la Escuela Elemental Koa (2009-2018); y maestra guía de alfabetización en Neptune Elementary (2018-presente). Obtuvo su bachillerato en Artes Liberales con especialización en Educación Primaria de City College of New York y una maestría en Educación / Administración y Supervisión de University of Phoenix.

Amanda Smith, subdirectora de la Escuela Elemental Narcoossee

Amanda Smith ha ocupado los siguientes puestos: maestra en Highlands Elementary (2006-2016) y maestra guía de instrucción de matemáticas / ciencias en Lakeview Elementary (2016-presente). Obtuvo su bachillerato en Educación Primaria de Western Michigan University, una maestría en Administración de Empresas de Strayer University y su maestría en Liderazgo Educativo de American College of Education.
