This week's Social Emotional Lessons focus on Understanding Emotions. According to Kids Health from Nemours, emotions are also called feelings - like being happy, mad, or scared. You feel them because of what you see, hear, remember, and do. Emotions help to give us information about what we are experiencing during specific situations/incidents and how we should respond to those experiences. This week's Social Emotional Lessons focus on Self-Confidence. Self-confidence, also known as self-esteem, means to be sure of yourself and your abilities in a realistic, but secure manner. To have good self-confidence, you would feel sure of yourself, be proud of yourself, see the good in all that you do, and believe in yourself. People with positive self-confidence are likely to have healthy social relationships with peers, perform well academically, and manage their mistakes well.These videos below will help you to learn more about self-esteem and increasing your confidence. -
