                             Principal

Welcome to Canoe Creek K-8, Osceola County School District’s premier environmental STEM school. My name is David Noyes, and I am extremely honored to be serving this community. Through a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning, students here at CCK8 work to develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for the 21st century. It is our belief that the E-STEM focus at Canoe Creek K8 helps to prepare students for the future and provides them with the tools to build sustainable, informed communities that are environmentally sound.
Here at CCK8, we believe that our students are among the best and brightest with a unique set of talents and potential. It is our job to nurture and strengthen this each day. Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students achieve academic excellence. Together we can make a positive difference for all at CCK8. For this reason, I encourage you to participate in SAC (School Advisory Council), PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association), and to become an OASIS-approved volunteer. I look forward to continuing our strong family partnerships and community collaborations that will help to support our Canoe Creek K8 scholars in achieving academic excellence.
Last year, we asked each of our stakeholders to rise together. The opportunity to come together as one is unique, challenging, and rewarding. Despite the challenges that come with every school year, our students and staff have persevered together and grown stronger as a result. No matter what we faced, our team stayed connected and remained steadfast on the mission and vision of CCK8. This year, we have chosen the theme: “Rise, Conquer, Shine.” Each day we will work to challenge each other to rise to new heights, conquer obstacles, and shine brightly in all our endeavors.
It's great to be an eagle!
    Sincerely,
David Noyes Principal, Canoe Creek K-8

Greetings Canoe Creek Eagles and families. My name is Jennifer Woollet, and I am one of the very proud Assistant Principals at Canoe Creek K8. I have served our Osceola Community for the last sixteen years as a teacher, an instructor, mentor, an academic coach, a dean, and now as your Assistant Principal. Our school is student-centered, and our collective focus is to deliver excellence in the education we provide. I love our students and believe in their ability to achieve success inside and outside of the classroom.

I remain focused on providing hands-on investigations and problem-solving opportunities where students can engage their critical thinking and are empowered to become informed citizens and productive members of our community. I am excited to continue the work we have started here at Canoe Creek K8.

I look forward to building relationships with our students and their families. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am available to assist you in any way I can. Ensuring your child’s success is my number one priority!
