    The Osceola School District remains fiscally responsible to the taxpayers of Osceola County:

    1. Consistently below state average in annual plant maintenance and operations cost per square foot and per student
    2. Historically, built new schools below the statewide average cost per student station
    3. Lowest administrative costs per student in the State as compared to all Florida school districts
    4. Significant operational costs reductions and improved building performance via High Performance Building Criteria
    5. The Osceola School District received a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2021. The district report meets the criteria established for ASBO International’s Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting.
    6. The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Osceola School District for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
    7. Fitch Ratings has upgraded the ratings on outstanding Osceola County School Board certificates of participation to 'AA-' from 'A+'.  Additionally, Fitch has upgraded the Osceola County School District's Issuer Default Rating to 'AA' from 'AA-'. The Rating Outlook is Stable. These rating upgrades reflect the district's solid revenue growth prospects, expenditure flexibility, and strong financial resilience.
