• The following scholarships are for St. Cloud High School seniors ONLY. Please review the criteria and application requirements/parts. Make sure to submit ALL parts of the application to the directed site no later than the due date! 

  • Chandler Legacy Scholarship

    (Amount Varies)

    • DUE APRIL 6, 2025
    • Must be a graduating senior from SCHS Class of 2025 and in good standing
    • The student must have a current cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. 
    • The student must have an acceptance letter to a college or technical school and provide this letter with the submission of the application.
    • Financial need is not considered for this scholarship. 

     

    • Applicants must submit the following items:
      • Completed application
      • Typed essay (following prompt in application)
      • Acceptance letter to a college or technical school
      • 2 letters of recommendation forms (included in application and given to each individual)
        • ONE must be from a teacher.

     

    • All applications, 2 recommendation forms, essay, and college/technical school acceptance must be e-mailed to:

  • Women's Club of St. Cloud Heritage Museum Scholarship ($1000)

    • DUE APRIL 7, 2025
    • Must be a graduating senior from SCHS Class of 2025
    • Applicants must submit the following items:
      • Completed application
      • A typed statement outlining your educational goals and career plans (grammar and punctuation will be taken into account)
      • 3 letters of recommendation
        • ONE from a Teacher
        • ONE from your School Counselor
        • ONE from a Community Member (not your parent/guardian)

     

    • All applications, recommendation letters, and career/educational goal must be mailed to:

  • Haywood R. Thornton III Memorial Scholarship 

    (2 Awarded: one college-bound student and one technical school-bound student)

    • DUE May 1, 2025
    • Must be a graduating senior from SCHS Class of 2025
    • Must be planning to attend a college/university OR a technical school/trade school
    • Must read the story Honoring the Legacy of Haywood R. Thornton III
    • Must pledge not to drink and drive

     

    • Applicants must submit the following items:
      • Completed online application 
        • Remember you can see your current GPA (weighted and unweighted in Focus and on your transcript in Xello)
      • A handwritten statement of your college/career goals (200 words or less)
