Florida Assessment Opportunities for Graduation Requirements - Juniors & Seniors
This page is intended for those juniors and seniors who still have not satisfied their ELA Assessment and/or their Algebra I Assessment requirement for graduation. Be sure to review the information outlined on the Graduation Requirements for Florida’s Statewide Assessment document for further details about these requirements and how your scholar can achieve their assessment graduation requirements.
Below you will find information regarding opportunities that scholars have to attempt to meet these assessment graduation requirements on campus. Review carefully as some opportunities are grade-level specific.
On Campus Opportunities for Assessment Graduation Requirements (as of 01.28.2025):
- Classic Learning Test In-School Session (CLT):
- Who: Seniors & Juniors who still need their assessment graduation requirements met
- When: Thursday, February 20, 2025.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
- SAT School Day:
- Who: Juniors and select Seniors (those needing to meet an assessment graduation requirement).
- When: Thursday, March 06, 2025. Note: Juniors will participate in a college reportable version of the SAT and Seniors will participate in a non-college reportable version.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
- ACT School Day:
- Who: Juniors ONLY.
- When: Thursday, March 27, 2025.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school. Your junior may elect to bring their own calculator, please review the ACT Calculator Policy for more information: ACT Calculator Policy.
- ACT Non-College Reportable (NCR):
- Who: Seniors still needing their assessment graduation requirement(s) met ONLY.
- When:
- ELA Assessment: English Subtest is April 08, 2025 & Reading Subtest is April 11, 2025. Note: The FLDOE requires that the scores from the English & Reading subtests be averaged together, but do not have to be from the same test administration.
- Math Assessment: April 09, 2025.
- What’s Needed: On-time arrival to school. This is a paper-based assessment, so a computer is not necessary. Your senior may elect to bring their own calculator, please review the ACT Calculator Policy for more information: ACT Calculator Policy.
- Classic Learning Test In-School Session (CLT):
- Who: Seniors & Juniors who still need their assessment graduation requirements met.
- When: Thursday, April 10, 2025.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
- FAST ELA Reading Retake:
- Who: Juniors and Seniors who still need their assessment graduation requirements met.
- When: Thursday, May 01, 2025.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
- B.E.S.T. Algebra I EOC Retake & B.E.S.T. Geometry EOC Retake:
- Who: Juniors and Seniors who still need their assessment graduation requirements met.
- When:
- BEST Algebra I EOC Retake: Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
- BEST Geometry EOC Retake: Monday, May 12, 2025.
- What’s Needed: Fully charged school-issued laptop, charger, and on-time arrival to school.
Off Campus Opportunities for Assessment Graduation Requirements (as of 01.28.2025):
- ACT National Weekend Tests:
- Who: Juniors and Seniors.
- When: Upcoming: April 05, 2025, with a registration deadline of February 28, 2025. Please review the website to review more dates and registration deadlines: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/registration.html.
- Support: The ACT Weekend dates does have a fee to take the assessment. Scholars may arrange to meet with Mrs. Soto, our College & Career Counselor, to see if they may qualify for a fee waiver.
- SAT National Weekend Tests:
- Who: Juniors and Seniors.
- When: Upcoming: March 08, 2025, with a registration deadline of February 21, 2025. Please visit their website to review more dates, details, and registration deadlines: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/digital/digital-testing/dates-deadlines.
- Support: The SAT Weekend dates do have a fee to take the assessment. Scholars may arrange to meet with Mrs. Soto, our College & Career Counselor, to see if they may qualify for a fee waiver.
- Classic Learning Test (CLT):
- Who: Juniors and Seniors.
- When: Upcoming: February 20, 2025, with a registration deadline of February 13, 2025. Please visit their website to review more dates, details, and registration deadlines: https://www.cltexam.com/tests/clt/.
- Important note: Please review any communication from CLT once registered for an assessment. They have a date deadline; however, if their spots fill up and your registration is not complete, they will cancel your registration.
- Support: The CLT is a fairly new assessment that can be used to satisfy graduation requirements, please exam their website thoroughly. This assessment is administered at home with remote proctoring. Moreover, there is a fee to take the assessment, however, the website outlines some options/opportunities that your scholar may receive a discounted or completely waived fee.
