Educational System Impact Fees
-
Educational System Impact Fees are vital to the School District in meeting our ever-increasing demands on educational facilities and the School District's ability to accommodate additional students. Educational System Impact Fee revenues can only be used for new capacity or capacity expansion projects and are levied against new development to fund capacity consumed by new growth. In the past five years, Canoe Creek K-8 Expansion, Harmony Middle School, Knights Point K8 School, Island Village Elementary School, NeoCity Academy, NeoCity classroom wing addition, Poinciana High School Business Academy, St. Cloud High School classroom wing addition, and Voyager K8 School were constructed. The following projects are funded and scheduled to open within the next three years: K-8 School "AA" and High School "AAA". All of the projects would not have been possible without the revenue generated by the collection of Educational System Impact Fees.
